Recently we have seen the elements take a toll on these riser plates. Usually the rubber transmission mount bushings are nearly rusted through the plate! These are found specifically on 7" or 8" tall frame trucks (measure your frame rail height next to fuel tank). If you have converted a 2wd truck to 4x4 and are missing this piece, it will fit on a crossmember from a 6" frame donor truck.
If your truck is a 6" frame height truck and you intend to keep it that way, this part is not needed!\
