Few people know the differences on cummins engine brackets in the 1st generation era of Dodge trucks. After years of swapping powertrains and being plagued by fan shroud/starter clearance issues, we found Chrysler used two different passenger side motor mount brackets. 2wd trucks had a taller bracket than 4x4. If you have converted your truck to 4x4 using a factory engine crossmember or, plan to, you may need this bracket if you don't already have an engine from a 4x4 truck. Everything else is the same besides this bracket. This bracket corrects the engine angle and clearance issues you may encounter.
